Time Passes On and On!!!

We can't believe Johnathan is a year old. Time passes by SO FAST!!! We can still remember the sleepless nights and the days where he never quit crying but all those things don't matter because he is the most precious blessing we could ever receive. He has been trying and sometimes very frustrating but within this year we have grown as parents, he's definitely grown in size and personality, and together we've formed a bond that is unlike any bond on earth. I've heard women and men speak of parenthood, especially motherhood, in such high respects and I wondered why? NOW WE KNOW. There is no greater love that is felt from a mother/father to their child, and to the child to their parents. There is nothing like it and we are blessed to have our son, Johnathan.

To explain the pictures. The ones that say he's 1 years old were taken by Auntie Rose. She and Jacob and Aunt JuJu and Nelly went with us to Rotary Park, here in Blue Springs, to take family pictures. We haven't taken any since he was born. Megan, Can I make a suggestion? Please get a family picture taken. I haven't seen a family picture of you guys yet.
The birthday party pictures are just that. Grandma Burkhardt's lips are black due to the birthday cake. It was a CARS cake. It was a great time. We missed you guys, Josh, Megan, Venna, and Jonah!!! Next year we'll have to party out!!!!
